Welcome to the website of the Corinthian Otters, founded in 1930 and arguably the first sailing club especially formed for children in the UK. Today's Otters continue the traditions of those early years; they sail, surf and swim over and under the waters of the Crouch in Optimists, Toppers, Cadets, Lasers and 420s.

Change of Plan for the AHOY visit 20th & 21st September 2008 Apologies that the visit of the AHOY Shipmates, planned for August, has had to be postponed. The AHOY Shipmates are not as fortunate as the Otters and do not have parents who can bring them sailing. There are insufficient AHOY volunteers available for the shipmates to be able to visit Burnham in August this year. Thank you to all those who so kindly offered to help and hopefully we can reschedule a visit in October. However The Otters are invited to join the AHOY Shipmates in London on 20th and 21st September 2008 to sail on the River Thames in the AHOYs Regatta.

All this, alongside passing (!?) GCSE and other exams, has kept life very hectic.
